8 Irish lads stayed 3 nights at the Gasthof Stadtscchanke from 8 to 11 October 2024 and we had a wonderful time, our host Constantine was so friendly and accommodating and made our stay most memorable, the breakfasts were excellent and the fantastic Greek meals in the evening were accompanied with great German beer - we had the best time ever. The building is very historic with lots of character (just like the host) and would highly recommend this accommodation - centrally located within a quiet town with a lovely bakery and Italian restaurant located close by - we will definitely return.

We had a lovely short stay in September. The beds were very comfortable, and the atmosphere of the hotel, room and surroundings were excellent. When we stayed, there was a festival which did limit parking. Usually there would be some parking spaces in the square right next to the hotel. I have allergies, and they were extremely well catered for! Breakfast was set up exactly on time, and was delicious. Check in and out was easy. The rooms can be accessed through a door at the back of the hotel, so we were able to come back late from a wedding without disturbing anyone. I would definitely stay here again

Amazing hosts, great rooms in hirstoric building with Greek restaurant below. The bathroom was modern and the room was lovely. Can park for free right in front of the building between 20 - 8 (or 9) , with other parking lots really close by. Reastaurant was really nice too and the host extremely helpful and friendly.

The staff was kind enough to let me check in early, it is on the city square, and you can see the local Castle

We had a great stay. Nice authentic historical German building at central village square. Great greek food and proper German beer. This is why you like Germany!
